EMCO Ping Monitor

Enter a host (IP address or host name), click the Start button in the upper left hand corner, and EMCO Ping Monitor Free will monitor that host. With this free networking ping monitoring tool you can stay on top of up to 5 hosts. If you want to monitor more than 5 hosts, you must purchase a license for the Professional version.

Three installation options will be presented to you by the application’s setup wizard:
Typical – all common features will be installed.
Complete – all features will be installed.
Custom – pick and choose what will be installed.
No matter what installation option you go for, one thing remains unchanged: installing EMCO Ping Monitor Free will take little time and little effort.

EMCO Ping Monitor Free features a ribbon interface. This means that buttons for easily accessing the application’s functionality are nicely presented on a ribbon at the top. As expected, the ribbon can be hidden out of sight.
It must be mentioned that the application’s interface provides support for skins. The many skins that you can use are nicely grouped into several categories: Office, Custom Design, Bonus, Fun.

Using EMCO Ping Monitor Free is a very simple matter. First up, you must add a host; click the Add button, then enter the host name or IP address. Next up, you must click the Start button and let EMCO Ping Monitor Free do its job. The application will start monitoring the host you select – it will automatically send pings to the host and if pings fail, it will automatically detect outages.

EMCO Ping Monitor Free is limited to a maximum of 5 hosts.
The paid Professional version allows you to monitor as many hosts as you want.
